I wish I had a solid one liner that explains exactly who I am, but I kinda created this space to end that sort of Coach Industry nonsense. 

Here’s what I can tell you: I was a personal stylist then an aspiring actress in Hollywood partying her ass off until I got physically sick and had to face what I was really running from. I was led into the fitness industry with a deep desire to share what was changing my life and body from the inside out.

Let’s go back to 2012, the baby days of Instagram and consequently there was no “holistic psychologist” or “Dr. Joe Dispenza”. So, 20 something-year-old Lecia had to scour the interwebs after her doctors told her she was just depressed and needed to get on medication and possibly surgically remove her thyroid. 

I’ll fast forward for you- I didn’t do either. Not because those are horrible options but mostly because I am stubborn AF and my lineage has had medicated women for longer than I’d like to reach back into memory. 

It was a long journey, still is, and has been worth every ounce of self honoring I have learned along the way. 

You are unique and so should be the relationship you have with your body. Your one- of- a- kind experience in this world gives you an entirely unique perspective. 

With that being said, after 10 years in the fitness + wellness industry I have learned a thing or two about how to work with and not against our bodies as women. 

There are a plethora of resources in here to save you time on doing the research, I of course still highly invite you to be your own advocate and experiment with what I share.

 

Take what works and disregard what just ain't aligned for you and that sweet meat vessel you’re hanging with.
